From Biker Sad to Biker Glad, On the Marilyn Denis Show
October 27, 2016
This week Over the Rainbow was featured on The Marilyn Denis show, where four best friends were invited to get a makeover, while keeping true to their denim/biker loving selves.
Of course, every Torontonian (including Marilyn Denis) knows that the only true place for denim hunting is at Over the Rainbow, so each makeover included a piece or two from the store. You can view the segment here.
LOOK 1- Cherlyn
Cherlyn’s look went from your typical mom/biker to an adventurous and modern day women, with a slight twist of boho chic and biker to it. The burst of fall colours and layers were the perfect fit to her personality, while the jeans jeans added length to her, with a suede boot.
LOOK 2- Diane
Diane’s style is edgy and chic following her makeover, and she looks very glam with a bootie, purse and soft camisole chiffon blouse that sits and flows with the body’s movements.
LOOK 3- Brenda
Nothing like a little high-heel bootie love, to hit you with some toned down, feminine touches, in different shades of black and neutrals. Brenda’s look was a non-flattering fit, but with the switch up and help of a stylist, she exudes a radiant women, ready for the world in a new, flattering biker-her.
LOOK 4- Dianne
Nothing like a little colour on the cool blues to brighten your day! Pairing them with casual denim and low cut slip-on sneakers keeps the look modern and trend setting!
