On Friday November 7th 2014, Design Exchange held their annual fundraising affair DX INTERSECTION: Rise Up hosting over 1000 fabulous guests. Faulhaber proudly supported the DX in the most pulsating design event of the year!

With creative direction by Rui Amaral and support from DX Co-Chairs, Rana Florida and Victoria Webster, DX and Faulhaber invited guests to immerse themselves in an environment transformed by installations by artists like Castor, Jeremy Jansen and Jesse Harris, a suprise performance by Joey Arias, sounds by Lorraine Segato from Parachute Club, a food installation by Parts & Labour, a staged protest by The Rodnik Band, a vogue-off sponsored by M.A.C. Cosmetics and more. The dress code ranged from hippie to drag to punk to power suits and ultimately – rise up, dress down!

The event was a tremendous success and DXI broke fundraising records this year:

In addition to the generosity of guests purchasing tickets and raffle tickets plus sponsorship involvement, all proceeds from this event will support the not-for-profit museum's youth education programs and Canadian design preservation initiative.
