#FEvents: Celebrating Canadian Diversity with EQ3’s Generation Art Collection

October 7, 2014

This Fall, EQ3 celebrated Canadian diversity with the launch of its second Generation Art Collection in collaboration with the Michaëlle Jean Foundation (FMJF).

The artwork from seven Canadians across the nation were selected and produced onto accessories in efforts of helping improve the lives of underprivileged youth in Canada.  The most notable pieces selected reflect the talents of a diverse pool of artists ranging from all ages. All proceeds raised from the sale of these pieces will support FMJF.

On September 23, 2014, Faulhaber Communications, together with EQ3 and FMJF, stirred up a flavour of both creativity and empowerment by holding a quaint cocktail evening at EQ3’s Toronto flagship store in Liberty Village. Guests had the opportunity to preview the launch of the limited edition collection while getting a peek at EQ3’s upcoming Fall/Holiday products. The winning artists experienced their visions brought to life as masterpieces on pillows, mugs, platters, napkins and bean bags.

President and CEO of EQ3, Peter Tielmann and Co-Founder and Co-President of FMJF, Jean-Daniel Lafond, were there to meet and greet guests and educate Canadians on how they can use their creativity to make a difference in the world.

Select items from the Generation Art collection are now available at EQ3’s Liberty Village flagship location. The complete collection will be available at all EQ3 stores across Canada and online at www.EQ3.com come December 1, 2014.
