Account Executive, Fashion / Beauty / Food & Beverage

Faulhaber Communications is an award-winning boutique lifestyle communications agency with offices in Toronto and Vancouver. We are hiring a smart, polished professional to join our Toronto team.  Are you a passionate and driven individual with knowledge and experience in the fashion, beauty, and food & beverage sectors? Do you excel at storytelling? Responsibilities and Duties:

Account Executive candidates should have agency experience in a fast-paced environment, excellent media and influencer relations skills, a creative approach to storytelling, and a demonstrated passion for fashion, beauty and food and beverage clientele.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day correspondence with clients under supervision of Account Manager
  • Develop media strategies, goals, media targets and pitch angles
  • Write, edit and distribute media materials
  • Manage and develop relationships with influencers, bloggers, Vloggers, and more
  • Develop and execute creative event strategies
  • Manage FSHOPPE meetings with media, stylists and influencers
  • Manage FSHOPPE client merchandising and inventory
  • Prepare/Contribute to client reports including using Meltwater and other analytic tools
  • Create social media content for clients/agency
  • Support additional agency initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Professionalism, entrepreneurial-spirit, polish, and strategic approach to storytelling
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of full-time PR agency experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Network of media and influencer relationships

Social Media & Content Coordinator

The Social Media & Content Coordinator will be responsible for storytelling across a variety of digital platforms and channels, supporting key initiatives and campaigns throughout the year. The successful candidate will help grow client and agency channels through skilled strategy, execution and community management, and will work across business pillars to produce compelling multi-platform content.

Responsibilities Include:

Community management including executing always-on monthly content calendars across client and agency social media accounts
Writing compelling copy and curating visual assets for digital platforms and ensure that all content has consistent look-and-feel, language, and tone, while adhering to client and agency social branding guidelines
Working cross-functionally to translate business objectives into engaging content
Participating in short- and long-lead planning for client and agency digital platforms
Regular tracking and reporting on campaign/program performance and KPIs
Staying ahead of latest news, trends, and technology in social media

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work in digital/social community management, with experience creating and implementing social media content calendars
Post-secondary Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated visual storytelling skills and excellent editorial judgment
Expertise across all social media platforms (specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube) and knowledge of social media best practices
Impeccable writing skills and an unmatched attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to plan and manage competing deadlines and priorities
Ability to analyze data, metrics, and insights, and translate into results
Ability to stay ahead of latest trends, technology, and tools
Experience using social listening and analytics tools (i.e. Facebook Insights, Twitter Insights, Sprout Social etc.)
Experience using graphic design and video editing software packages (i.e. Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, In-Design, 3D software) is an asset.

Digital Trainee

We’re looking for a forward-thinking individual with a passion for social media and a strong understanding of the digital landscape to assist our Digital Specialist with a variety of tasks. This trainee will gain valuable experience in website management, social media platforms and content creation. They will also have the opportunity to heavily expand their writing/video portfolio by contributing daily articles to our blog. Tasks include:

Daily community engagement to help grow social reach and engagement
Creating original content  for social platforms and blog
Researching digital trends, best practices, and trending topics
Scheduling content
Reporting and analytics to support social media accounts
Producing and editing video content/gifs
Participating in brainstorms to bring new ideas to the table
Administrative tasks

Qualifications
Currently enrolled or graduated from a Journalism, Broadcast, PR, Communications, Social Media, Graphic Design, Fashion or Photography program
Comfortable with Hootsuite, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and emerging social media platforms
Video creation and editing capabilities
Graphic design experience (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) a must

Marketing and PR Trainee Program

We’re looking for creative and hard-working individuals with a passion for Public Relations and Marketing to join our Trainee program. This Trainee will gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of Public Relations and Marketing by supporting on a number of campaigns, events, brainstorms and more. They will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves within the team and receive hands-on guidance and mentorship that will allow them to succeed in the industry. Tasks include:

Support account teams on assigned clients
Assist with communication, marketing & PR on allocated projects
Manage sample requests, fact checks and handles the processing of incoming and outgoing samples
Draft written materials including email pitches, e-blasts, press releases, media alerts
Responsible for timely updating of administrative lists including: PR reports, monthly reports, annual reports, post-mortems/wrap reports
On-site and off-site help with special events
Coordinate courier, supplies, computer equipment, and office maintenance
Assist management with showroom and inventory

Qualifications:
0-3 years experience
Currently enrolled or graduated from a Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Fashion, Journalism or other related programs
Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs with a basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Solid understanding of media and social media landscape within Canada
Proven capacity to manage up to account leads and managers
